How Often Should You Cut Your Hair?

How often should You cut your hair

We recommend a trim every 6-12 weeks or approximately every three months.

Regular hair cuts maintain a particular hairstyle that you may have. You could have a haircut any time you wish to change your hairstyle.

Getting a regular haircut is necessary because it helps keep your hair healthy. It may sound counterintuitive, but getting a trim regularly is a vital part of growing your hair. Having a regular hair cut ensures that the ends of your hair fibres remain as healthy as possible reducing the porosity at the ends.

Over 6-12 weeks, your hair will grow approximately 1.6 to 3.3cm (~2/3 to 1 1/3inch). Trim typically removes ~0.5cm to 1cm (~1/4 to 1/2inch) of hair. So even with a regular trim, your hair is getting longer.
