Low Hair Porosity

Low porosity hair - what I need to know
Low porosity hair

Is having low porosity hair a good thing?

Low porosity hair is likely to be as strong as it can be. Your hair strength will also depend on your hair type, fibre thickness and cuticle health.

What makes your hair have “low porosity”?

Because low porosity hair has no cracks or holes within it, your hair will typically possess excellent volume and respond well to styling.

Very few of your hair fibres will contain split ends with no mid fibre splitting. Your hair should also appear to have an intense lustre and be looking great!

Healthy hair is beautiful hair.

Clients with low porosity hair are likely to rarely colour or heat treat their hair or have relatively short hair. With shorter hair, there is less time for damage and porosity to have built up.
